Kiwako Okuma is an independent researcher residing in Stockholm, Sweden. She received her Ph.D. in International Education from Stockholm University. She is specializing in educational sociology, but is brodaly interested in sociological studies. Recently, she has been interested in civil society in Bhutan, as well as social change and vocational education in Bhutan.
