Masayuki Deguchi is a Professor at the National Museum of Ethnology (MINPAKU) and Graduate University for Advanced Studies (SOKENDAI). He has rich experiences of not only academics but also third sector organizations and government. He was appointed the Commissioner, the Public Interest Corporation Commission (Japan’s Charity Commission) by Prime Minister upon obtaining the consent of both houses of the Diet (2007-2013), and also served as a member of Governmental Tax Commission (2003-2009). He contributed Public Interest Corporation Accounting System 2008 version. Currently special advisor both to Osaka Prefectural Government and Osaka Municipal Government.
