Recently, Udan Fernando was invited to appear on national TV for a panel discussion on Civil Society and Good Governance. The discussion appeared on Face the Nation, and included elaborations on Udan’s contributions to the Handbook of Civil Society in Asia, published with Routledge last year. Udan’s chapter Sri Lankan Civil Society: Roller Coasters and a Repeat of History? explores the scholarship of civil society in Sri Lanka, its history, and “venasa” (change).
